The Forest Restoration Project is of significant importance to the Maryland Agricultural Resource Council. In the above picture, you can see how the project is coming along as of Spring 2018. The Forest Restoration Project is located in the “back field” of MARC’s property and the walking trails that pass by it are open to the public!

Forest restoration is important worldwide, as trees can act as a carbon sink and their roots can help reduce soil erosion. To learn more about reforestation explore the links below!
