The chainsaw is an amazingly powerful tool, but without proper training and knowledge it can be a very dangerous tool. This workshop is a combination of classroom and practical components – including felling and clearing. Whether you work on a farm, in your backyard, or in a wood lot, this course is for you.
$25/person
Must be 16 yrs. or older

What To Bring: Chainsaw and a pair of gloves (it’s okay if you don’t have a chainsaw to bring, but it’s certainly best if you can learn on your own machine). Please wear appropriate footwear (boots are best). If you have a scrench (that’s a chainsaw tool) bring that too. If not, you can substitute a ¾ inch ratchet and socket, and a flat head screwdriver.
