Harvest and History: The First Thanksgiving Craft Night

For Elementary and Preschoolers (Ages Under 12)

Tickets are $8.00 per child

November 18th 2:00-3:00pm

Join the Maryland Agricultural Resource Council for a new series: Harvest and History! This first event will discuss the first Thanksgiving in the American colonies! Have you or your child ever wondered why the pilgrims actually celebrated? Do they know what the pilgrims¬†really ate on Thanksgiving in 1621? Here’s a hint: there definitely wasn’t any pumpkin pie! The first half of the night will be a brief history of Thanksgiving and allow children to ask questions about early agriculture. The first Thanksgiving also celebrates the first harvest after all! The second half will be a classic movie screening and craft session that you don’t want to miss!

Don’t miss out on this fun event!
