Farmer Stan School Application

Farmer Stan’s Agricultural School Tours are an amazing farm education in Baltimore County for Maryland’s students from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Spring tours will run from April 23, 2018- May 4, 2018.

This year, the Maryland Agricultural Resource Council is proud to announce that we have won funding from the Baltimore Ravens Play 60 Program to offer this program free of charge to Title 1 Schools in Maryland.

Note: Schools will still be in charge of acquiring and paying for their transportation

The Spring season tours will give students the opportunity to get outside, learn about the food system, learn about health, experience the planting and growing seasons on the farm, and learn about the importance of playing for 60 minutes every day! The tours will allow students to learn all about how seeds are planted and grown, the many vegetables, fruits and grains that are produced from the seeds, where our food comes from, honeybees and more!
