Children ages birth to 5 years old are invited to the farm to join in one-hour workshops designed just for them (NOTE: Tickets are required for any child 9 mos and older).
Workshops are held bi-monthly (read the schedule very carefully) on Fridays at the Baltimore County Ag-Center in Cockeysville. To better meet the needs of our youngest farmers, this year, there will be two sessions of Sprouts on each program day:
Session A: 9:45am-10:45am
Session B: 11:30am-12:30pm
You are welcome to bring a lunch, and stay longer to enjoy and explore the Farm Park.
Each class features:
• a different farm or nature topic each week (see below)
• experiential investigation and learning
• movement, stories, & arts and crafts
What the Grown-Ups Had to Say About Farm Sprouts:
“This program was a wonderful experience. It was fun and educational. My daughter was engaged during the entire hour. We are looking forward to the 2016 season.”
“You are a stellar group of professionals who expertly planned, carried out and worked hard at this program and it was a huge success. My 3 year old daughter went from not wanting to learn to getting so excited for farm sprouts and showing off what she learned throughout the week. It was like a light bulb and she can’t stop. Thank you so much for all you have done! God bless!”
“My granddaughter & I enjoyed the whole experience . She learned a lot & liked the hours structure” “I could not be happier that we found this program! We recommend it all the time to all of our friends and we’ll be at every single one next year!”
Parents are free of charge. Due to popularity – NO WALK-INS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
