Family Farm Day is a one-day festival celebrating all things agriculture. Drawing 5,000 visitors from throughout central Maryland, the festival has something to offer attendees of all ages including great food, music, exhibitions, tractor rides, art and craft vendors and educational programs.
At Family Farm Day visitors can listen to the sounds of live music, browse the offerings of a sugar maple lined alee featuring locally grown fruits, vegetables, flowers, honey, meats, and cheeses. Learn about gardening and beekeeping, get up close with a variety of farm animals, tour the farm, see sheepdogs, foxhounds, and horses in action, and spend time in the kid zone that will have pony rides, peddle carts, pumpkin painting, face painting, and other fun activities.
Tickets are only $20 per car.
There’s no better way to kick off the fall season! One low price covers ALL activities including tractor rides, butter making, sheepdogs, sheep shearing, slingshot apples, magic shows, animal interactions, farm tours, Maryland beer and wine, equine veterinarian demonstrations, a mini farmers market, square dancing, and MUCH MORE!
